    Default excision sternal venous malformation
    Medical Coding Books
Hello , One of our doctor's offices is going to be excising a venous malformation near the sternal notch. Has anyone coded for something like this before? I am guessing it will be unlisted, but would love any starting places! thanks.

Well, it seems like one, but I hope when the report comes, we may reach a code.

Will really need to see how it is described in the op note, but you may want to look at 35182, 35189 or 35216 if needed before hand to get a precert.
