EKG for Clearance???

    Default EKG for Clearance???
    Medical Coding Books
    My cardiologists are doing sports clearances and want to bill just the EKG to the ins company. Has anyone come across this issue. How do you reccomend coding. My doc's do not perform an E&M..should they?

    No, I have not but I would bill 93000 in office and 93010 if done in the hospital.
