    Default IP/Observation Consult Codes

Can a Consult code be billed for IP or Observation consults if the pt has Medicaid?

Default May depend on your state

Medicaid is goverened differently in each state. Our state Medicaid still recognizes the consult codes. Not every state does.

    Hope that helps.
