    AAPC: Back to School
    If a doctor Delivery in er can our doctor charge for the delivery. Patient has no prenatal care.

    What service did your doctor perform? If it was the post partum care only, then no. The ER doctor gets to bill for the delivery if that is who did the delivery, unless the hospital has a different arrangement. In these cases each provider bills for the services they performed.
