Thanks for doing this. I think compiling a list of resources for ED coding would be great. In my office we use ED Coding Alert. Perhaps choose a topic like Laceration Repair each month or so and post helpful tips.

    Default Starting the Group/Mailing list

    Hello Emergency Room Coders:

I would like to thank you for being patient and waiting for this group emailing to get started.

Most of the suggestions for this group have been for:

    • Tips
    • Suggestions
    • Websites for references.
    • Articles
    • Questions. .

The best way to organize the collection of this information would be two ways, one email to me and I can put them in a format, or two, we can list them on the forum.

We can also put them in a newsletter format and then post the information on the forum.

So- to start send me :

    1. Favorite website for reference.
    2. Favorite articles for ER information.
    3. Any questions for a code-round.
    4. Suggestions for what you want on the newsletter.
    5. Tools and tips.

Once there is enough to format the first newsletter those will be sent out.

    Thank you,
    Susan
