    Default Place of service code

    AAPC: Back to School
My doc did a hysteroscopy & lap LSO and another surgeon did a gastric revision on the same patient. The patient was admitted as inpatient for the gastric surgery. My question is do I code my surgeon's work as outpatient or inpatient? Surgeries are not related.

Only worry about what your provider did, and code as such.
