Aspiration Question during Post Op

  1. Default Aspiration Question during Post Op
    Medical Coding Books
Patient comes in following knee arthroscopy; doc says that he is 'obliged to aspirate due C&S for infection'. I am not really sure, as I know post op covers infection, but if he is ruling out some microbes with a C&S, should this be billable?
