    Default fracture

    AAPC: Back to School
A patient came into our office diagnosis was given as wrist pain. splint was given at that visit. two days later patient came back with the same reason. this time a short arm cast was applied. My question is this do I bill a fracture care for the second visit? there is no fracture identified.

I would say no, if there is no diagnosis for a fracture.
