Mammo dx coding

    Medical Coding Books
    We are getting denials from cigna and b/shield ppo's on our "screening mammo's" we use V76.12 "other screening mammo" for screening and they are saying it is incorrect. Any ideas? Thanks

    which CPT are you using? and does the patient have screening benefits and is the timing correct for those benefits?

    Sorry, our billing dept just got off the phone with b/s-b/s they said they were wrong that is the correct code. Thanks anyway
