     Responsible for insurance and self pay follow up, including appeals to Medicare, Medicaid and private insurers.
     Responsible for processing all refunds to insurance and patients.
     Responsible for developing training manual.
     Responsible for training of new employees.

     Responsible for assisting In-house Legal Counsel with department organization and correspondence and contact with customers and employees.
     Responsible for assisting Maintenance Director with new projects, locating contractors to request bids for maintenance services, accepting maintenance requests from 85+ restaurants, obtaining contractor services for emergency repairs and follow up to determine satisfactory job completion. Tracked state regulated maintenance services, such as fire extinguisher and vent hood services and ADA requirements.

     Responsible for maintaining support for various software systems and some hardware functions.
     Responsible for producing monthly financial reports, graphs, and charts for the system (as a whole) and by each physician.
     Responsible for developing and delivering education for staff on current coding issues for all payer classes.
     Responsible for conducting chart audits for physicians to ensure compliance with Medicare requirements and teaching physicians proper documentation techniques.

     Responsible for implementing policies and processes to merge individual physician practices into comprehensive clinic environment.

     Selected and managed conversion of computer database for shared system.
     Assisted in conversion and closing of physician practice in November 1996, when Dr. Fowler sold to Trinity Mother Frances Health System.
