ER Consult then OV NEW or EST?

    Medical Coding Books
    If my General Surgeon see's a patient in the hospital, then see's the patient in the clinic, is it Established or New Patient charges?

    When the pt is seen in er and then comes to the office they are est, he is also new if one of the docs from same specialty same group saw him in the er and someone else sees in the office
