Does anyone know if I can use 99435 if a baby was born in the night and the next day the physican for the baby comes in and examines the baby and discharges the baby. Or do I just code 99238 for a discharge? Does he have to see him twice, once for the exam and then later for the discharge?

I believe 99435 perfectly covers your scenario.
