    Question Breast Exam Only

    AAPC: Back to School
If a patient presents to clinic for a preventative breast exam only without pap or pelvic, how would that be coded?

Is the patient a medicare patient? What is the medical necessity of doing only a preventative breast exam and not a pelvic?
