    AAPC: Back to School
    Hello ...
    Could anyone Ecode this scenario...
    This is a 9-month-old male whose father states that he was carrying and he tripped and fell and the baby's left side of his face hit the sidewalk causing an abrasion.

    Dx - Head injury and abrasions on the baby's face..

    I'd go with E888.1 because child did "strike" the sidewalk, causing the abrasion.
