    Does anyone have any resources for a PA billing for a Hospital consult?

    I guess what my question is. I have a PA in the office that does a lot of Hospital consults. He wants to make sure it is ok for him to bill these out. I just wanted some documentation that states if it is ok for the PA to bill for consults.

    That depends on your state licensing requirements, the PAs scope of practice, and the insurance carrier.

    Our PAs DO bill consults when they perform the work themselves.
