Earn your CPC credential.
The CPC is the most recognized medical coding certification in the healthcare industry. Many medical coders begin their careers with CPC training since physician-based coding is the most prevalent across various healthcare settings, including medical offices, walk-in clinics, telehealth groups, and laboratories.
If you plan to later advance into other areas of coding, the CPC is an ideal starting point as all require knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT®, and HCPCS Level II coding.
