  • At least two years of ob-gyn coding experience is prerequisite. While no previous coding credential is needed to attain the COBGC credential, this course is not meant for individuals with little, limited, or no coding experience.
  • This course takes four hours on average to complete, not including additional study time
  • Approved for 4 CEUs upon successful completion towards CPC®, CPB™, CPMA®, CPPM®, and specialty credentials except CIRCC® (one-time use only)

Passing & Certification

  • Must have current AAPC membership
  • An overall score of 70% or higher is required to pass the certification exam.
