Classroom Class Details

We currently offer a hybrid class offering an online course with a live instructor available on a weekly basis for questions and practical application. Using the AAPC Medical Coding Curriculum, you will learn the fundamentals of medical coding skills for an outpatient physician setting and prepares the student to take AAPC's CPC® exam. This course covers CPT®, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding and assures a broad knowledge in reviewing and assigning the correct procedure and diagnosis codes for physician services. You will have access to recorded audio with challenging self-testing concepts, quizzes and once a week practical application with a live instructor reviewing the challenges you may have had during the week. We meet once a week in an "online classroom" for questions and to discuss the topic of the week. Price of the course is $1500.00 and includes the AAPC Professional Medical Coding course with optional attendance to our office hours with one of our AAPC approved instructors. Once you have completed the course you will have access to 3 practice exams to assist you in preparing for the examination. We are with you every step of the way, once you have passed the AAPC exam and are a CPC-A (apprentice) you will have access to the AAPC Practicum (a web based program allowing new medical coders to gain the confidence of coding 600 casses in different specialties . Completion of the AAPC pracicum removes the apprentice status of your certification.
