The below courses are designed to teach fundamental coding skills for an outpatient hospital/facility setting. All together, these courses provide a comprehensive beginning education in outpatient hospital/facility coding and billing.

Strongly recommended for anyone who is taking the CPC® or COC™ preparation courses or preparing for any AAPC certification examination.

Core Coding and Billing Courses:

COC™ Preparation Course

This online course teaches fundamental coding skills to prepare the student to take the AAPC COC™ exam for a medical coding career in an outpatient facility such as an Ambulatory Surgical Center or hospital outpatient billing and coding department.

Medical Billing and Reimbursement Course

This course prepares students to work in a medical billing department at a physician’s office, clinic or similar facility, and will enhance a coder's expertise.
