Stephani Scott

Stephani has over 25-years' experience in the healthcare industry. She's worked in a variety of settings including hospital, long-term care, large multi-specialty physician practices and EHR software design and development. For many years Stephani was the owner of a consulting company, providing services for physician practice management including coding, billing, and revenue cycle audits. Throughout her career Stephani has enjoyed teaching physicians and staff Evaluation and Management Coding, proper medical record documentation, and EHR implementation and design locally as well as nationally.

Currently, Stephani serves as Vice President for AAPC Services, where she manages an international team of coders and auditors and is responsible for the overall project performance and client satisfaction for AAPC customers.

Elizabeth Hylton

Elizabeth is a regional director with AAPC's Audit Services Group (formerly Healthicity). She began her coding career by identifying claims submission errors involving ICD-9 and CPT® codes on hospital claims. Hylton has worked as a coding specialist for a variety of specialties, including family medicine, cardiology, critical care, and inpatient hospitalist groups. She spent 2 years as an Auditor/Educator for Carolinas HealthCare System, and transitioned to a management role for one of its larger physician groups before joining Audit Services. She has spent the last 5 years with Audit Services Group serving as senior auditor/educator and project lead for initiatives involving clients nationwide.

Raemarie Jimenez

With more than 26 years' experience, Rae Jimenez is a nationally recognized speaker and thought leader in the healthcare industry. She serves as a coding liaison to the AMA CPT® Editorial Panel and has overseen the development and operations of certification exams, exam preparation materials, distance learning, and education licensing programs at AAPC.

Prior to joining AAPC, Rae spent many years running billing and coding departments, audit services, provider education programs, and client services. At ConCorde Career Institute, she served as assistant academic dean, program director for the coding and medical assistant programs and director of graduate services.
