Hello everybody! I work as a coder in a urology office, and the physician performed a Retrograde Ureteropyelography and recorded a left RPG. He wants to bill 52005 and 74420. However, due to the documentation, I'm unsure whether I can bill the 74420. His entry for 74420 simply reads, "The left ureter was cannulated with a 5 Fr open-ended catheter. Contrast was administered into the catheter using fluoroscopic guidance." Isn't it necessary to have a separate report and interpretation for bill 74420? Thank you for your assistance.
