Important Notes:

  • Examination dates will not appear online after the four-week registration deadline.
  • Incomplete applications or those received less than four weeks before the examination date will not be processed. Examination payments are processed whether or not applications are accepted and may be applied to a future examination date. If your examination application is not processed for any reason you will be notified by email.
  • When your examination application has been processed, you may view the proctor's name and telephone number on our website under the member log in area under My Scheduled Events. Contact the proctor for further details of the examination time and location if the exam information is not listed there.
  • Several examination sites have limited seating. Registrations are processed in the order they are received, so register early.
  • To reflect updates in the recognized code sets (CPT®, ICD-9-CM and HCPCS Level II), the AAPC develops new CPC®, CPC-H®, CPC-P® and CIRCC® examinations yearly. Although ICD-9 code changes go into effect October 1, the examination continues to use the calendar year codes.
