When choosing between Z37.0 (Live birth single, only applicable to maternity patients aged 12-55 years inclusive) and category Z3A- (Weeks of gestation), it would be appropriate to pick the appropriate gestational time code from Z3A-. The codes from category Z3A- normally are used only on the maternal record, to indicate the weeks of gestation of the pregnancy. Check with your payer to verify before submitting your claim.
