Question: When submitting more than one arterial line or central line, should I submit the code with a quantity 2, or submit the code twice on separate lines? Utah Subscriber Answer: When faced with this scenario, report the procedure on two lines with modifier 59 (Distinct procedural service) on the second line rather than a quantity of 2.
