Question: We reported the following case with a nail bed repair and a laceration repair code, but the suturing was denied. Can you explain why?

Answer: The reportable service of a repair of nail bed, 11760 (Repair of nail bed) includes placing the sutures so that service and should not be separately reported with a 120xx repair code.
