After a detailed history and exam, the gastroenterologist finds a pair of internal hemorrhoids. The physician performs hemorrhoidectomy on both with radiofrequency. Should I code for each hemorrhoid destroyed? Alabama Subscriber Answer: You cannot code each destruction separately.
