Question: When reporting destruction of lesions on the anus, may I code 46924 for each lesion removed?

Answer: No, you may not report multiple units of 46924 (Destruction of lesion[s], anus [e.g., condyloma, papilloma, molluscum contagiosum, herpetic vesicle], extensive [e.g., laser surgery, electrosurgery, cryosurgery, chemosurgery]) during the same operative session. Because the descriptor specifically states "lesion(s)," you should report a single unit of 46924 regardless of the number of lesions the surgeon destroys.
