CMS plows full speed ahead with more interoperability learning options. This time with updates to the CMS Data Element Library. The library is “a database of post-acute care patient assessment content mapped to nationally accepted health IT standards to support interoperable health information exchange between providers and with patients,” said the agency in an MLN Connects release. The call will go over the updates while advising providers, vendors, and other interested stakeholders on the changes and what’s ahead for post-acute health IT. “A question and answer session follows the presentation, including an opportunity to provide feedback on the DEL,” CMS noted. The call is on March 19 from 1:30 to 3:00 P.M. The link to register is https://blh.ier.intercall.com.
