Chain, Catholic Health System Form Joint Venture

LHC Group and Irving, Texas-based CHRISTUS Health will form a joint venture covering 21 CHRISTUS locations, including seven home health agencies, five hospice programs, two community-based home care services, one inpatient hospice unit, and six long-term acute-care hospitals, the Lafayette, Louisiana-based chain says in a release. LHC will purchase majority ownership and assume management responsibility for the locations.
