Competition Leads To Hospital HHA Closures

Two more hospitals are closing their home care units. Titusville Area Hospital in Pennsylvania will shut down its 32-year-old agency July 31, reports the Titusville Herald. And Mercy Hospital in Berryville, Ark., is shutting down its home health and hospice agency Sept. 1, reports the Carroll County News. Both hospitals cited increased competition as one reason for the closures.
