Hospital Readmissions Fall In Last 5 Years

Efforts to reduce hospital readmissions — including increased use of home care — appear to be paying off. Between 2010 and 2015, avoidable hospital readmission rates fell by 8 percent nationally, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services says.
