Man Pleads Guilty To Selling Patient Info To HHAs

A Detroit-area patient recruiter has pled guilty to his part in a $25 million fraud scheme. Clarence Cooper sold Medicare beneficiary information for $200 to $300 per patient to area home health agencies who used the info to submit fraudulent claims, according to a Department of Justice release.
