Most States Are Using Emergency Waivers

The vast majority of states, 41 at press time, now have Section 1135 waivers approved to address COVID-19 issues. At press time, Georgia was the most recent state to receive Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services waiver approval for Medicaid.
