Home health agencies accredited by the Joint Commission will see the same National Patient Safety Goals in 2014. The Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.-based accrediting body’s five goals are: Identify patients correctly; Use medications safely; Prevent infection; Prevent patients from falling; and Identify patient safety risks for patients using oxygen.
