Number Of PPS Proposed Rule Comment Letters Drops Significantly

Home health agencies’ voices are getting quieter as Medicare keeps hacking away at their reimbursement rates. In 2014, 364 interested parties commented on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ proposed rule for 2015 home health PPS. Last year, 120 stakeholders commented on the 2016 HH PPS proposed rule. This year, only 89 comment letters were submitted, according to regulations.gov.
