Patient Recruiter Convicted In Detroit

A Detroit federal jury has convicted a patient recruiter of fraud in a $1.3 million scheme. At trial, the evidence showed that Dominic Trumbo of Trumbo Consulting Agency “solicited and received kickbacks in exchange for referring Medicare benefi­ciaries to serve as patients at multiple home health agencies,” the Department of Justice says in a release.
