Watch for your new hospice comparative billing report to come soon. SafeGuard Services is scheduled to release the new batch of reports June 21, the Centers for Medicare & Medi-caid Services says in a message to providers.

Unlike home health agency CBRs, SGS groups hospices into 10 regions (rather than individual states) for comparison. "In order to have a valid statistical comparison, it was necessary to group hospice providers in larger groups than their states," SGS explains in a frequently asked question on its website.
