Industry Notes

• If you've had your hospice claims returned with reason code 32024 recently, you may need to F9 them to get your rightful payment. The code, which says "The admission date on the claim is greater than the provider's cancel (termination) date on the provider file," was applied in error to claims when the provider had no billing activity in the past 12 months, RHHI Palmetto GBA reports on its Web site. "Providers should go to their claims in TB9997," Palmetto instructs. "F9 the claims that are receiving reason code 32024 in order to move the claim back through the system."
