Consult New Hospice Terminal Prognosis Tools From MAC

Two new guidance documents may help you document and defend your hospice claims. HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor CGS has posted two tools, “Hospice Terminal Prognosis: Dementia Due to Alzheimer’s Disease” (one page) and “Hospice Terminal Prognosis: Non-Disease Specific” (two pages).
