Now is not a good time to be racking up OSHA penalties. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has raised penalties 1.06 percent in 2022. “Willful or repeated” violations can now carry a penalty of up to $145,027 per violation, OSHA says in a Jan. 13 memo at www.osha.gov/memos/2022-01-13/2022-annual-adjustments-osha-civil-penalties.
