SC Agency Pays Six Figures For Employing Excluded Manager

Employing an excluded individual has come with a big price tag for a South Carolina home care agency.

Heaven Sent Helpers in Columbia has agreed to pay more than $115,000 for employing an excluded individual, the HHS Office of Inspector General indicates on its civil money penalties webpage. “OIG’s investigation revealed that the excluded individual provided items or services that were billed to Federal health care programs, including administrative and management services,” the agency details.
