Access Newest Preview Reports Before They’re Gone

You have a little time left to view your latest hospice Provider Preview Reports. The preview period for the report lasted from Aug. 17 to Sept. 16, although they will be available for unofficial viewing another 30 days after that. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services “encourages providers to download and save their Hospice Provider Preview Reports for future reference, as they will no longer be available in CASPER after this 60-day period,” the agency says in a message to providers. And if your staff could use some help downloading those and other Hospice Quality Reporting Program reports, CMS has some newly refreshed resources for you. “Two updated documents, Getting Started with HQRP CASPER QM Reports and Getting Started with Review and Correct Reports, are now available,” CMS tells providers in a new message. “These updates add new screenshots with detailed explanations of the most current reports available to providers and will help in understanding and using the reports,” the agency says. Access the tools in the “Provider Toolkit” section at www. cms.gov/Medicare/Quality-Initiatives-Patient-Assessment-Instruments/Hospice-Quality-Reporting/ HQRP-Requirements-and-Best-Practices.
