Follow New Cap Reporting Procedure If You Plan To Exit Medicare

Hospices exiting the Medicare market have a new procedure to follow for self-reporting their per beneficiary cap amounts. "Providers who have terminated from the program in the following cap year (i.e. 2018) [must] submit both Current Year (i.e. 2017) and their final (terminating) SD cap reviews at the same time," HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor CGS says in a new post on its website. "After CGS has completed processing the current year SD cap submissions, we will complete all necessary final cap reviews for your agency."
