One HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor is still sending hospices their PS&R data for purposes of self-reporting their 2017 caps, but you may not want to wait around for the helping hand.

MAC Palmetto GBA is sending hospices their data this year, but CGS and National Government Services are not, reports The Health Group in Morgantown, West Virginia. But "remember to secure PS&R data at the earliest possible date if your hospice expects to have a cap liability," the consulting firm advises in its electronic newsletter. "This will allow you to minimize the amount you will need to repay with the filing." Cap reports are due Feb. 28.
