Give Medicare Officials The Unvarnished Truth About Medicare Advantage Plans

Here’s your chance to give CMS an earful about Medicare Advantage plans. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services is soliciting feedback to improve MA, it says. “Medicare Advantage is a critical part of CMS’ vision to advance health equity; expand access to affordable coverage and care; drive high quality, person-centered care; and promote affordability and sustainability of Medicare,” CMS Administrator Chiquita Brooks-LaSure says in a release about the Request for Information. “Medicare Advantage plans are essential partners in this work,” Brooks-LaSure says. Instructions for submitting comments by Aug. 31 are in the RFI published in the Aug. 1 Federal Register at www.govinfo.gov/ content/pkg/FR-2022-08-01/pdf/2022-16463.pdf.
