HHA, Hospice Merge In California

Pioneer Home Health Care Inc. and Hospice of The Owens Valley in Bishop, Calif., have merged under Pioneer’s name, reports the Inyo Register. Pioneer needed a hospice program and the hospice needed help with regulatory and other demands, the newspaper reports. Pioneer aims to secure Medicare certification for the hospice program by July, according to Administrator Pat West.
