Hospital-Based Hospices Get Their Turn

If it’s not love at first sight with the revised cost report for hospital-based hospices, get your two cents in by April 7. That’s when the comment period closes on the new form, according to a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services notice in the Feb. 6 Federal Register.
Waiting: At press time, CMS had not yet posted the actual form on the Paperwork Reduction Act website to go with the Federal Register notice. Stay tuned for those documents at www.cms.gov/Regulations-and-Guidance/Legislation/PaperworkReductionActof1995/PRA-Listing.html.
