If you missed Medicare's training session on the new hospice PEPPER comparative billing reports, you can now access it online. The training session, slides, a question-and-answer document, and resources like a user's guide are available for download at http://pepperresources.org/TrainingResources/Hospice.aspx.

Reminder: "The Hospice PEPPER is a report that summarizes a hospice's Medicare claims data in areas that may be at risk for abuse or improper payment," PEPPER contractor TMF Health Quality Institute says on the site. "PEPPER compares a hospice's claims data statistics with aggregate statistics for other hospices in the state, MAC/FI jurisdiction and the nation."
