Louisiana Hospice Acquires 2 Locations

EPI Group and Lafayette, La.-based Heart of Hospice have acquired for undisclosed terms the hospice operations of Lakeshore Hospice Acquisition in Hammond and Heart of Hospice of New Orleans, according to press reports. The two hospice facilities serve about 140 patients in southeast Louisiana.
Heart of Hospice provides care to more than 300 patients in south Louisiana, it said in a release. The hospice lists five locations on its website.
