More hospice medical review topics means more ways your claims may come under the microscope. HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor Palmetto GBA listed six hospice topics in its latest “Active Medical Review” topic review. They include Beneficiary Sharing, Routine Home Care, Aggregate Length of Stay, General Inpatient Care — Inpatient Hospice Care Outliers based on Mean Days for Jurisdiction, Non-cancer Length of Stay — Diseases of the Nervous System, and Continuous Home Care.
